There are quite a lot of people taking the same bus with us although it was a Monday morning and around half of them are Japanese. Recommendation: Try to avoid going to JiuFen during weekends since the place is normally crowded during weekends with local and foreign tourists flocked in. Choose normal weekdays where you got to enjoy walking around this peaceful small town. We spent around one hour travelling from TaiPei to JiuFen and we get down from the bus at JiuFen Old Street. Found our guest house and checked in! Since it was still early, the guest house owner suggest us to pay a visit to JinGuaShi Gold Ecological Park ( 金瓜石黄金博物园区 ).
