River Kwai - From Bangkok to Nam Tok by Train
Click HERE for the full itinerary. We landed at Bangkok in the late evening, then we took a cab to Thonburi. We stayed one night at Riski Apartment, or more commonly being known as Wasit Apartment by locals. The guest house is just normal, but it is clean and with an attached bathroom. Riski Apartment. Hidden in a residential area. Why Thonburi but not any other places around Bangkok? This is because we are going to take a train to River Kwai on the next day! Thonburi is the place where the train station located and we chose a guest house which is within walking distance to the train station. Smart traveller :P Thonburi station :) Before we reached Thonburi station, we passed-by a "train market"! The market is really just next to the train railway.
