Hello Beijing!!! Hunt for local food is always one of the best part in a trip, so we are going to share about some good local food or snack that we tried throughout our trip in Beijing!  1. Qing Feng Steamed Stuffed Bun Shop (庆丰包子铺) Once we touched down at Beijing Capital International Airport, our first meal was at the airport. Early in the morning, we looked for some light and healthy breakfast after a long night flight. Steamed bun, red bean porridge, red date and marinated cloud ear fungus (black fungus). A healthy way to kick start our Beijing trip :) 2. KaoRouJi ( 烤肉季) We were recommended by a local when we loitered around ShiChaHai (什刹海). This is a very famous and historical restaurant, for more details of the restaurant, can refer to HERE . One of the signature dish there, Mongolian roasted rib (蒙古式烤羊排)! Strongly recommended! Hello Beijing! Towards the end of our trip, we didn’t travel far or outskirt of the city but we chose to walk around BeiJing city. So here we are, Olympic Sports Centre! Beijing hosted the Olympic back in year 2008 and here is the place where all records were created! Lovely autumn. It was a good evening, slightly hazy and breezy. Not too bad for a scroll :) It is easy to get to Olympic Sports Centre via MRT, both Line 8 and 15 stop at Olympic Green Station. The sports centre is very big in area and two main attractions there would be the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest)  国家体育场 (鸟巢) as well as the National Aquatic Centre (Water Cube)  国家游泳中心(水立方) ! Part of the Sports Centre's layout. The place is really huge!   Mascots of Beijing Olympic 2008! The iconic national stadium from far! Haha, it still looked better from far.... >.<  we were so closed that we got to see tangled wires.. When the sky turned dark ...
