This post i s about FOOD! Last weekend we went to a new restaurant at Kampung Melayu Sungai Buloh, named Warung Kita. The food is so good that we loved it so much and want to blog about it! Warung Kita is quite a new restaurant in this area where it started its operation around end of year 2014. Bas ically menu here is simple, just few types of food and beverages being served here. From our observation, 4 popular food or beverage here is: No. 1: Nasi Manggey (some called it nasi kukus, steamed rice) – RM4.50 Steamed rice wrapped in banana leaf together with some chopped fried chicken, sambal belacan and curry sauce. We noticed that some people requested to have extra chicken in their rice, with extra charge of course (RM6.00). The sambal belacan is very spicy ye...

Sasaran - An artistic fishing village

Image
If you drive from Kuala Selangor to Klang, you would pass through a small town named Sasaran. Sasaran is a small fishing village where there is only one main big road in the town, which is the way leads you to Klang. You would sure notice that there is an empty space beside the main road’s traffic light with some unique installation art pieces displayed there. Interesting fact is the art pieces are made of used material or recyclable stuff from the fishing village! Few years ago, Sasaran being known by most Malaysian because of an art festival held in this fishing village. On year 2014, they organized an international art festival at Sasaran! Don’t worry if you missed the chance to pay a visit during the art festival because some of the installation art pieces are still standing there, as well as the wall art :) We dropped by Sasaran last few weeks when we were on the way to Klang and decided to spent some time explore around under hot sun!  Giant chair...
