Ipoh One Day Trip
Morning
Ipoh! Let’s have a famous Ipoh white coffee and roasted bread as breakfast, a
must-eat-breakfast at Ipoh lol.
The best combination ever !
Oh, who
said can’t have dessert in the morning? They called this custard caramel, felt
like taufu fa made from egg and served together with caramel, not bad.
After breakfast,
let’s jalan-jalan around Ipoh. Ipoh is a city surrounded by limestones caves
and there are several famous temple built inside or along the caves.
Our first
destination is Perak Cave (Perak Tong Temple). This is a very special temple
where you can see a huge Buddha statue sitting in front of you when you walked
in. Besides, there are painting on the wall inside the caves!
The entrance.
The huge sitting Buddha statue.
Paintings on wall.
More paintings.
Follow the
staircase up to the top of hill and you would be greeted by panoramic view of
Ipoh city.
Next destination
is Ling Sen Tong Temple. This temple is located beside the main road, can be
spotted easily. Ling Sen Tong Temple is located beside Nam Thean Tong Temple
and the famous Sam Po Tong Temple.
Rock of
Heavenly Spirit.
Nam Thean
Tong (Nam Thean Temple)
From the
main road, you would reach Ling Sen Tong Temple first, followed by Nam Thean
Tong Temple and the last is Sam Po Tong Temple.
Entrance of Sam Po Tong Temple.
For me, I found
Sam Po Tong the most attractive, because of the tortoise pond! There are
hundreds of tortoise here. Ok, so what’s so special with tortoise? Did you ever
see a tortoise eating cherry tomato? Tortoises here like cherry tomato so much!
The red colour tiny things on the floor are cherry tomatoes lol.
Ok, I had a
polished back, don’t jealous.
We had fun in caves visiting, so it is not just food in Ipoh lol.
