Volunteering for Asics City Relay KL 2016
This is my third event volunteering after Nike WeRunKL (Year 2010) and SCKLM (Year 2013). This round, my assigned role is pre-event set up crew and I am one of three members alloted in the earliest shift of 1pm. Our task in the afternoon is simple, to help setting up the course flags and barrier jackets along the starting / finishing lane. Stay healthy. Keep running :) We managed to complete the work at 6pm. In general we got four types of flags and jackets presented on the route, the Asics City Relay event brand, Spectrum Worldwide event organizer brand, Blue and Black Asics sponsors flags. Everything was nicely dressed up and it was an accomplishment for the day as we endured working under the scorching hot weather for hours. Rows of sponsor flags.
