Pangkor Day 1 - Pangkor SPK Guest House

Image
From Kuala Lumpur to Lumut Jetty, we chose to use the old road (non-highway) and stopped by Pasir Penambang for a short while for breakfast. We had breakfast at Nan Yuan Kopitiam ( 南源 ) after reading some reviews from the net. Our breakfast of the day! Half-boiled kampung eggs, roasted bread with homemade kaya and kopi kaw! The shop owner is quite talkative and he is very kind in introducing the food served in his shop. After breakfast we continued our journey to the north and reached Sekinchan! We spent some time having some shoots with the green paddy field which looked like fake one lol. One last jump shoot before we left the paddy field! Good one!  After around 2hours of drive, we reached Lumut Ferry Terminal! There is a 3 or 4-storey undercover car park within walking distance to the ferry terminal. Parking rate is RM0.60 per hour. I believe that there is not much choice for the car park, so the car park is pretty full. Lumut ferry terminal.

The event was held on 23rd of August 2014 with aim of promoting an active and healthy lifestyle in daily lives. The race covered a 4.5km route running on my beautiful homeland named after Sungai Pelek. On the actual race day, all participants gathered at SJK(C) Wah Lian at 7am. The scale of this event is small as it was mainly supported by the locals. The participants were briefed on the race route and some safety precautions before the race. Kids category kicked start the run, followed by the public category.  The running route. Start and end at  SJK(C) Wah Lian. Red: Starting ; Pink: Finishing The running bid. SCKLM 2014 Race Report

12 th  of October 2014, it’s the day for Standard Chartered KL Marathon (SCKLM) 2014. This year, I’ve registered in the Honda Half Marathon category.  The 21km category started as early as 6am. Thanks to the convenience of LRT in collaboration of the event, I was able to make it to Dataran Merdeka on time. This is surely a good move for all the runners who wish for more travelling options. 6am, the kickoff of 21km category. It all started with a band performance and loud cheers along Jalan Raja Laut. It was inspiring to see many performers doing their part in the early morning to keep the running passion alive. It was a clear day on the route without haze and traffic in the KL city centre. My running vest! Pride is my finish line! The new 21km route covers several iconic landmarks of Malaysia, say The Twin Towers, Pavilion Shopping Mall, Parliament of Malaysia and the historical Kuala Lumpur KTM Building. Water station and 100 plus was placed in every 2km and 4km

27th September 2014, we are going to Saga Hill again. This is our second visit in less than two months time. We are joining the monthly hiking event organized by The North Face Malaysia. The assembly point is at the car park area nearby the Saga entrance. The hike started at 715am after the warm up session. Our hiking trail of the day. Ascending (Red arrow) via trail C and descending (Blue arrow) via trail A. It was a 2 hours leisure hike and the destination is Saga Hill rest point. The total distance covered is around 5km. The ascending is via trail C and descending via trail A. We took an hour to reach the rest point. After 15 minutes of rest, we started to descend. There are so many staircases in trail C compared to trail A. Some other group members having a quick rest while waiting for other participants to reach. The heaven route! Thanks to the locals for keeping the area clean and kept improving the facilities. Some simple gym facility. Thank
