Penang - Chew Jetty & Gurney Drive Food Court

Asam laksa! Here we come! We departed from KL and just like what others normally do, we stopped by Ipoh to have our breakfast. We had dim sum breakfast at Foh San Restaurant that morning. Do expect crowd over there especially during weekend and public holiday! It is so hard to find a seat! Anywhere, you can choose to tapau (carry away) dim sum at the carry-away session next to the main entrance in order to skip the crowd! Penang bridge! Once we reached Penang, we headed to Georgetown and looked for our hotel, Armenian Street Heritage Hotel. We booked a family room for 4-person for 2 nights, the bathroom is clean, the room is spacious and well-equipped. The best thing is strategic location of this hotel! Famous mural wall arts are all within walking distance from here and the irresistible Penang Road cendol is less than 15minutes drive form here too! View from our room. Overlooking Komtar. After some rest in the hotel, we walked to Chew Jetty to kick start of our

After that, we walked to the nearest Chit Lom BTS station and started our journey to Chatuchak market. It is one of the must visit in Bangkok. The market is so huge that one could have easily lost in the small rows of shoplots while walking from one alley to another. We were lucky to have the last few pieces of map in hand before the Chatuchak entrance. Entrance of Chatuchak Market Many welcomes  ! Incredibly Cute Bag Nice home déco The market has everything that you can name of and some of them are offered at the lowest price as well. In addition, the coconut ice-cream is a must-try food in Chatuchak. They are simply enticing, making you want to try out every combination of toppings. Finally the shopping is over at Chatuchak. We headed to Union mall next. According to travel source, this mall is fre
