Sungai Lembing - Rainbow Waterfall

Image
Sungai Lembing is a small town located around an hour drive from Kuantan. It is a famous tourist spot especially during these few years where one gets to enjoy the mother nature while relaxing their mind away from hustle and bustle of the city. Sungai Lembing is a small town surrounded by mountains and rivers, it used to be famous with tin mine too! During our time at Sungai Lembing, we booked a Rainbow Waterfall package online. Click here for more details (not an advertisement lol). The gathering point is at the hawker centre located beside the main street. At 6.30 o’clock in the morning, the hawker centre is full with tourists going for either Rainbow Waterfall or Lembing Hill. Met our guide, hopped onto the modified 4-wheel drive and started our journey to Rainbow Waterfall! The 4-wheel drive journey estimated to be around 1hour but we spent slightly more than it @.@ the driver is abit too “cautious” in driving thus the journey is less excited but safe enough lol....

Brooks Kuantan Half Marathon 2014

Image
Amazing month of May. I have completed the 21km Broooks Kuantan Half Marathon, just 2 weeks after the successful hiking in Majestic Mount Kinabalu Sabah. The official result timing for the run is 2 hour 26 minutes. It was my second competitive run of the year, and the result had turned out to be better than expected. For race results and e-certificate downloads, please click  here . Good to Run! (Photo source: Dusty Monkey )  The Brooks Kuantan registration had started even before the Chinese New Year in the early month of Jan. My brothers, cousin and I were able to get together in the CNY and registered for the 21km run. The pricing for normal period is rm70 with additional rm3 online processing fee. 10th May, we’ve reached a day earlier to collect the race kit at Teruntum Mini Zoo. It was our first time here. The mini zoo is located beside the popular Teluk Cempedak Beach. Many veteran runners were spotted in the Saturday afternoon greeting their old mate...

Taiwan - 7-Eleven @ Taiwan (Must try food :p)

Image
Click Here for full itinerary. 7-eleven is always our first choice when we are travelling either local or abroad. During our time at Taiwan , we fall in love with their 7-eleven! 7-eleven in Taiwan is like following you everywhere, it is so easy for you to bump into a 7-eleven and there are so many different kind of food sold there! Hehe, here we recommend some food or snacks that one should not miss when visit to a 7-eleven at Taiwan! (1) Braised pork rice & tea boiled egg  ( 卤肉饭 & 茶叶蛋 )! We tried few braised pork rice during our stay at Taiwan, including the instant one from 7-eleven! Just reheat it in the oven and ready to be served! We bought it at DaJia ( 大甲 ) Train station and had it during our way back to TaiPei ( 台北 ). Came with a “basket”  :) Cannot resist our temptation to buy a tea boiled egg ( 茶叶蛋 ) from 7-eleven every time when we stepped into it! They boiled the eggs in a pot, so the smell is everywhere around the shop!...
