Hehe, here
we recommend some food or snacks that one should not miss when visit to a
7-eleven at Taiwan!
(1) Braised pork
rice & tea boiled egg (卤肉饭 & 茶叶蛋)!
We tried
few braised pork rice during our stay at Taiwan, including the instant one from
7-eleven! Just reheat it in the oven and ready to be served! We bought it at DaJia
(大甲)Train station and had it during our way back to TaiPei (台北).
Came with a
“basket” :)
Cannot resist
our temptation to buy a tea boiled egg (茶叶蛋) from 7-eleven every time when we
stepped into it! They boiled the eggs in a pot, so the smell is everywhere around
the shop! Hehe, I can’t remember how many tea boiled egg I had during our
Taiwan trip :P
(2) Cup noodles!
We stand in
front of the cup noodles section struggling on which flavors to choose!
Korean style!
Kimchi noodles.
Chinese style!
Herbal soup comes with cubes of pork! Slurp~
(3) Soft boiled
egg (温泉蛋)
This is
awesome! Only costs us TWD 38 for 2 soft boiled eggs!
Served chill
but I prefer to “reheat” it in cup noodles! Perfect match!
(4) Onigiri!
There are
quite a lot of flavors available too! We tried few different flavors and love
this the most!
Onigiri with
kimchi and pork! TWD25 each.
(5) Jelly
We spent a
long time in 7-eleven choosing which beverage to buy, which yogurt to take,
which jelly or pudding or salad….too many @.@
This jelly
is good for after meal dessert :) sweet and sour and cold, so refreshing!
(6) Hokkaido ice
cream
Seem like
this ice cream is a newly launched hot selling item!
We had it
when we just landed down at TaoYuan International Airport, considered our first
meal at Taiwan :P
