Wish that I am one of the lucky winner for this biggest ho kang in town! Actually I had been to Macau 3 years ago, around July 2011. It was a graduation present I gifted to myself, I flied all the way from KL to Macau, with my best friend, just 2 of us, young and brave lady lol. Macau is definitely a country worth to pay a visit to and I wish that I could visit this country again one day in future. 1st No v 2014, Saturday. It was the day for Viper Challenge 2014. This year, my friends and I made a comeback with three new faces in team, and of course, we got an earlier starting time at Sepang International Circuit. In the morning, we reached at 430am, two hours before the event starts. The car park is almost full. Registration is quick and it was about 20 minutes clearing the entrance. We had some free hours taking photographs, chatting and changing. Viper Challenge in dark. The official car. Starting line! The first wave was released at 6am. The deejay was doing his amazing job again, to blow everyone up in mood. “When I say Viper you say Challenge”, “When I say Give up you say Never”, followed by the official kickoff. Each wave has a buffer time of 20 minutes. We, in the third wave, started the 2014 Asia Biggest Challenge of 20-km obstacle race at 640am. The list below pulls out the top five most interesting yet challenging obstacles found in the co...

Day 3 at Pangkor and today is the last day here too. Holiday ends too soon before we realized it. Having breakfast at SPK for the very last time before we left this peaceful island. We loved local food here! Tried their home-made noodles cooked in clear soup with fish! Super fresh! Loved breakfast served over here! Recommended! After breakfast, we drove the car and parked it near Pangkor Jetty, left the car key inside and left. The uncle who rented us the car told us to do so since he was not around, felt so secured, again! Then we travelled back to Lumut, collect our car and headed to Sitiawan. What to do at Setiawan? Hunt for famous local food! Here it is, Sitiawan Cheong Cia Gong Pian ( 实宨远曾家福州光饼 )! Never thought that we need to queue for this Gong Pian! They baked the biscuits inside this “stove” and once the biscuits are ready, they sold out in minutes! We were so lucky since we managed to grab some before sold out. Here we go! Looked norm...

Pangkor Day 2 - Pantai Pasir Bogak!

Image
Morning Pangkor! Wake up in small rain and the rain stopped after our breakfast! Lucky us! Started our journey exploring Pangkor Island with our rented Proton Saga! The pink van! In case you don't feel like driving yourself, you can always look for the pink van to fetch you to your destination! The pink van is just like a taxi and it can be found almost everywhere on the island! Mural on the wall in SPK town. So creative! Road in Pangkor is just simple and straight forward. It should be very hard to get lost on this island if you followed the proper road :P From SPK, we followed the main road, passed by a garbage furnace and reached Pantai Teluk Dalam which located next to Pangkor Island Airport! Yes, there is a small airport here! The beach is calm and less crowded compared to Pantai Pasir Bogak. Perfect spot for picnic! Our next stop is Lin Je Kong, which is a temple situated at the edge of Coral Bay and facing the sea! We did not do any...
