Pangkor Day 3 - Sitiawan Cheong Cia Gong Pian (实宨远曾家福州光饼)
Day 3 at Pangkor and today is the last day here too. Holiday
ends too soon before we realized it. Having breakfast at SPK for the very last
time before we left this peaceful island. We loved local food here! Tried their
home-made noodles cooked in clear soup with fish! Super fresh!
Loved breakfast served over here! Recommended!
After breakfast, we drove the car and parked it near Pangkor
Jetty, left the car key inside and left. The uncle who rented us the car told
us to do so since he was not around, felt so secured, again!
Then we travelled back to Lumut, collect our car and headed
to Sitiawan. What to do at Setiawan? Hunt for famous local food!
Here it is, Sitiawan Cheong Cia Gong Pian (实宨远曾家福州光饼)! Never thought that we need to queue for this
Gong Pian!
They baked
the biscuits inside this “stove” and once the biscuits are ready, they sold out
in minutes! We were so lucky since we managed to grab some before sold out.
Here we go!
Looked normal but smelled extremely irresistible especially when the biscuit is
still hot! Just out from the stove!
Crispy
outside and there is onion slice inside! RM1.00 each.
From
Sitiawan, we headed to Bidor and had simple lunch before enter the highway and
back to KL. We didn’t use the route we used on Day 1 in order to skip the heavy
traffic especially at Sekinchan and Kuala Selangor.
Pulau
Pangkor is an ideal place for weekend getaway, from family to friends. The
place is simple while locals are humble and helpful! Here is a place where you
can forget everything about the hassle city and relax your mind. Arh…miss the
lovely greenish beach already…
