Dream Trip To Macau
Hello everyone! We are going to fly to Macau this time!
Haha, came across with this cannot-be-missed contest from Nuffnang blog and I
am so excited to write about Macau! Wish that I am one of the lucky winner for
this biggest ho kang in town!
Actually I had been to Macau 3 years ago, around July 2011.
It was a graduation present I gifted to myself, I flied all the way from KL to
Macau, with my best friend, just 2 of us, young and brave lady lol.
Macau is definitely a country worth to pay a visit to and I
wish that I could visit this country again one day in future.
Let’s talk about 3 most amazing things that made me want to
visit Macau again!
Top 1: Portuguese dessert - Serradura
Talk about Macau, famous Portuguese egg tart would pop out
in your mind, but please don’t forget about other Portuguese cuisine too!
There are plenty of Portuguese restaurant available in
Macau, the one that impressed me the most is Solmar restaurant. Solmar
restaurant located in the center of macau, founded in year 1961, it served
traditional Portuguese cuisine that you definitely cannot resist!
I loved their Portugal chicken and fried Bacalhau ball!
However, the one that melts my heart is the dessert they served, which is
Serradura! Serradura is made of fragrance cream sandwiched with crunched biscuit.
The texture is so soft and smooth, every bite melts in your mouth!
Portugal Chicken and fried Bacalhau ball!
Serradura!!! The best dessert in the world!
So far this is the best dessert I had ever had in my life!
Macau, oh Macau, I would definitely go back for this Serradura!
Top 2: The old Macau - SanVa Hospedaria (Hostel)
Spending a night or two at SanVa hostel is one of the best
ways to experience the old Macau. SanVa Hostel was established since the
beginning of 20th century. It is the oldest guest house in Macau and
it is also appeared in many awards winning movies and TV dramas!
Still remember the scene appeared in Hong Kong movies like
Isabella and 2046? The hotel in TVB drama “Big Wheel” (巨輪)? SanVa Hostel is a famous photo spot along
the old street, thanks to its unique architecture as well as movie’s effect.
Long Staircase before you reached the check-in counter.
Interior of the room!
There is no attached bathroom in the room, but we got this! Quite convenient lol.
Stupid pose in front of the hostel!
Top 3: The
grand Macau - Casinos
Macau is
well-known as Asia’s Las Vegas, casinos there are just like mushroom after the
rain! I really enjoy walking along the busy street while admiring the beauty of
Macau at night!
One of the many casinos along the street!
Colourful night!
This is so grand! Both exterior and interior!
Macau is so
happening especially at night! Even though you are not interested with the
gambling game, you can still spend hours inside the casino!
Wow!
Super love this!
So…why should I be chosen for this superb opportunity?
Firstly is because I really miss Serradura from Solmar
Restaurant!!! I really wish to go back for it! :P
Secondly is because I wish to go back to Macau to see how
much it had changed over these years. Wish that old buildings can stand still
despite rapid development while grand side of Macau can still “wow” the whole
world!
Macau is a country that definitely worth visit to. Love the
food, the culture, the heritage, simple and less hectic life over there!
Besides, it is a safe place for female tourist! My friend and I loved Macau
since we felt so secured walking on the street even though at night and people
there are so helpful in guiding us the correct way.
