Kurtos Kalacs @ Secret 009 Kalacs :)
Last Saturday, we visited a special café or bakery which is
named after an outstanding name – Secret 009 Kalacs :P The signature food sold
here is fresh Hungarian Kurtos Kalacs :P Sound interesting right?? Hehe, Kurtos
Kalacs is a Hungarian traditional pastry which is also known as Chimney Cake in
some country. It symbolizes happiness, romance as well as eternity ^^ Thus, it
is served as wedding cake in Hungary, sound so romantic :P
A cozy café ^^ Oh, spotted the sweet Kurtos Kalacs??? :P
So many flavours !!!!

Kurtos Kalacs here is freshly baked everyday :) the pastry
chef is busy with his dough, rolled it on the special mould/ stand before put
it into a rotating oven.
We ordered the original flavour and also the cinnamon
flavour, which is the top seller here. Besides, Kurtos Kalacs with peanut,
walnut and coconut coating are available too :)
Made of natural and healthy ingredients where no artificial additive
is added :) They even help you to cut into smaller pieces before serving ^^
The original flavour :) Coated with a layer of sugar before
send into the oven, creates a crispy and sweet exterior while a soft and smooth
interior :)
Cinnamon flavour ^^ generous layer of cinnamon powder on the
surface, cinnamon lovers sure gotta like it!!! Oh, we ordered a fruit dip to eat together with the Kurtos
Kalacs ^^ a homemade fruit dip made from pineapple and passion fruit :) A perfect combination with this sweet and sour dip :)
Secret 009 Kalacs served hot tea, coffee and hot chocolate
too ^^ A big Kurtos Kalacs priced from Rm10.30 to Rm12.40, depends on the
flavour.
This cosy pastry is worth a visit ^^ We like it :)
