Bangkok - Chocolate Ville

Click HERE for our full itinerary.

Chocolate Ville, a new tourist hot spot in Bangkok, Thailand.

The place is nothing related with chocolate, only that they named this Europe theme restaurant as “Chocolate Ville”. There is only one restaurant here, but the restaurant compound is so big, which consists of a small river, a viewing tower, small garden, small playing area for kids and not to forget a lot of camera spots from windmill to miniature house, candy house and etc.

Environment here is so good for dining, just imagine dining along the river with some country music around. When the sky turned dark, the area was lighten up by lots of small yellow mentols!

You can see this windmill from far, welcome to Chocolate Ville!
There is taxi waiting area closed to the entrance with a signboard listed down fares to some hot destination.

Chocolate Ville :)

Everything here is so cute!!!

Mini cottage and lighthouse!

Bear! Or chef!?

It is a very romantic place! Worth the 1hour journey from Bangkok city centre!

We enter through the River Boathouse.

They even have a boat here! T.T Not sure it is working or not, but really salute to their effort in building and maintaining this place, which is more than a restaurant!

Lots and lots of photography spots!

A lighthouse! Which served as a viewing tower too! You can hike up and have view the whole Chocolate Ville from top!

Wow!

The Bell House.

Christmas is still far but we felt like we are celebrating Christmas here especially when the sky turned dark and the lights are on!

This is their toilet.... so pretty T.T

The food is good too! And most important is it is not overpriced!

Pork knuckle! Crispy outside and juicy internally!

In clockwise direction: Grilled pork ribs, baked potato skin with cheese, spicy salmon pasta and green curry pasta!

Total bill for all these food plus a beer and 6 fresh coconuts cost us 1950 Baht! We are so shocked with the price! We can never get this food at such low price at KL =.= Good food good environment, what can we asked for more?

Marvellous dinner with this view :)

Night view :)

Dining along the river.

So romantic!

Mini windmill :)

Giant windmill!

How to go:
  1. Take cab (the easiest and fastest way). Around 30minutes from city centre if traffic is good. We went there around 5o’clock in the evening, traffic is quite congested, so we spent around 1hour to reach there @.@ We booked the taxi for whole day, 1500Baht where we covered Chatuchak Weekend Market and Chocolate Ville.
  2. Take MRT to Phahon Yothin or Lat Phrao station. Then from there, take taxi to Chocolate Ville.

Tips:
  1. Reach there around 5 or 6pm, so that you have more time to pose for the camera before the sky turned dark! The scene is totally different after dark! I preferred the night scene LOL :P
  2. Leave before midnight to avoid not able to grab a taxi.
  3. Go to the reception counter to book for your seat to avoid disappointment! Especially if you looking for good dining location (for example: seat beside the river).
  4. Take good care of your kids and belongings. We saw a customer dropped his phone into the river! The staffs are very helpful, they used a net to look for the phone in the water first…after that, they even dived into the water until they found the phone!
  5. Make sure your camera is loaded with an empty memory card when you are here LOL.
