Chom Bueng - Where to Stay

This was our first time to reach Chom Bueng and we are very excited to explore this small humble town! Main purpose is still the famous Chom Bueng Marathon, which was highly recommended by a local we met at River Kwai International Marathon years ago! Out accommodation tonight made us even more excited and can’t wait to be there!

So we took a minivan from Ratchaburi to Chom Bueng, the nice driver dropped us at the main road beside Chom Bueng University. So we walked into the university and collected the race kit for next day’s full marathon ;)

After that, we contacted our guest house’s owner through “LINE” and being told to wait for the guest house’s driver at 7-eleven nearby. Met the driver and after around 15minutes, here we are! A farm village resort as our stay of the night :)

We really don't know how to address this place using English, don't think they have a English name for it :P Oh yeah, we are the only foreigners there LOL.

Resort's address.

The small pond at the entrance.

The dining area :P We had our dinner under millions of stars!!!

Taa daaa!!!! Our room of the night!

Haha, it was crazily hot the time we reached, so we dare not step into the tent since inside was scorching hot!!! However, it was OK in the evening and was very cold at night! Maybe because we are sort of like sleeping on a land surrounded by sugarcane farm?? Haha!

The host prepared 2 pillows and a blanket for us :)

Besides tent, there are actually few dorms available here as well as rooms that fit 2-4 persons.

The village resort was run by a Thai lady who wished to help local community by supporting them through getting supplies from the locals including all food they used for guests' dinner.

Dinner is included in our stay. This is good since we hardly see any restaurant or even houses nearby LOL.

Dinner is served in buffet style, a combination of food that supplied by the locals, including abalone mushroom, vegetables, eggs...

A very satisfying dinner in opened air and a nice talking section with the locals :)

In short, this is a very special accommodation for us, everything is simple but yet meet the basic living requirement. A good place to relax your mind and rest, not to expect alot of activities available here.
