Bali - Tanah Lot

Tanah Lot, one of the must-go place at Bali.

Tanah Lot means Land in the Sea in Balinese language. There is a temple on the land of rock formation, on the sea. Being surrounded by temples, for us, this is a sacred place.

On the way to Tanah Lot, we passed by locals' houses and border-less paddy field. Then, we arrived at the temple by the sea. Quite amazing, surrounded by paddy field and the next moment we are facing the sea!

Welcome to Tanah Lot!

Entrance fee of Tanah Lot:

Being greeted by great weather :) There are few surfer spotted in the middle of the sea!

You are allowed to walk down to the other side which is much closer to the sea.
There are a big crowd of people queuing outside a shrine, praying.

The weather is quite good during our visit, we were there around 10am. This is an open area so do remember to bring along your umbrella or sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun!

For refreshment vice, there are quite a number of stalls selling snacks and drinks.

Waving goodbye~
