Sabah - Pulau Manukan @ Tunku Abdul Rahman Park

From Pulau Sapi, we travelled to Pulau Manukan. Just short distance, reached after around 10minutes by speed boat.

Stunned by the view from jetty. So BLUE lol! The water is super clear too! Spotted lots of fishes swimming around the jetty once we landed!

Pulau Manukan is the second largest island in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park and it is one of the most popular islands in Sabah. Facilities here is quite well-established compared to other islands where chalets and few restaurants are available here. Public bathroom is available here too.

By the way, food sold on the island is with “resort” price. Please bring along some snack to save your wallet lol. We saw people bring along whole bucket of KFC! Slurps!

Blue, green, cream :P

It was around 12PM and the sun was burning!

The wooden bridge – A famous selfie spot for tourist lol.

Leisure time on the beach :)

Can’t get enough of the lovely blue sky!

Quite painful to walk on this.

After around 3hours of leisure time here, we met with our guide at the jetty and heading back to Jesselton Ferry Terminal.

We had great time at Pulau Sapi as well as Pulau Manukan! Tunku Abdul Rahman Park is definitely one of the must-visit-place for those who visit to KK.

At night, we go for seafood dinner which is one of the must-do things at KK too.

We chose this one! Not bad though.

Abalone! Still alive one!

Seafood at KK is slightly different with those we saw at KL. According to the restaurant owner, majority of the seafood from KK is from deep sea, so the species is slightly different.

So we had this unknown vegetable which is claimed to be only available in Sabah. Taste normal by the way..

Steamed white prawn and fried deep sea crabs with salted egg yolk! The prawn is so fresh!

Never try this before, unknown sea creatures in shell. Slightly boiled in water and served with sweet sour sauce. The meat itself does not have significant taste so the sauce plays an important role in the dish.

Dessert after meal!

It’s time to call it a day. The next day would be our last day at Kota Kinabalu. Stay tune to know where to shop for souvenirs!

Ciao~
