This restaurant gained its popularity in a lot of travel guides websites or books and Angelina Jolie has a cocktail named in her honour here!

When in Siem Reap, think of Angelina Jolie, think of Tomb Rider and think of Ta Prohm LOL :P She has a cocktail named after her name and there is a tree named as “The Tomb Rider” tree at Ta Prohm.

The Red Piano served Asian and western food, with reasonable price.

In clockwise: Amok with rice, vegetable curry with rice, lime juice and olive Mexican tortilla.

Amok is Cambodian’s national dish and it is normally served with fish or chicken, we prefer it in fish.

Location: Wat Bo area. Street 26, Krong Siem Reap.

A friend recommended us this place. We went there by bike under super hot sun, totally worth it because chilled beer is served! Haha, just kidding, main course here came with beer! We had big pig burger and Hawaii thin crust pizza.

7) Street food

Location: anywhere along the street.

Street food is always the best way to try and learn about local food. Despite cheaper in price, street food is actually showing us difference of local’s culture. For us, street food exploration is always fun!

Pancake, with banana and chocolate. 1 USD for one.

Like this…how often would you sit along the main street in a rainy day and have your dinner? :P

Fruit shake is one of the popular drink here where you get to choose what type of fruit to be blended together, the best drink to beat the hot sun, besides beer LOL :P Only 1 USD for a fresh fruit shake! Durian anyone?!

Don't need to worry about food when having your temple hopping around Angkor Wat. There are quite a lot of food stall serving food and cold drink throughout the day!

Our lunch at Angkor Wat. Food portion is big and served together with watermelon. Total 8 USD for pineapple fried rice and fried noodles with chicken, 2 USD for a fresh coconut.

Angkor beer is a MUST try beverage when you are at Siem Reap! When travelling to Bangkok, try Chang beer, so when you are at Siem Reap, try Angkor beer!

Instant noodles with beer, plus Cambodian TV show which we can’t understand well, the best combination LOL!
