Men's Health Women's Health Night Run 2015

21st of March, my first competitive run in year 2015 - Men’s Health Women’s Health Night Run. It comprised of two race routes, 5 km and 12 km. The race was held at the Palace of Justice, Putrajaya. It has attracted a good 7500 participants and this is the first run brought by the Men’s Health and Women’s Health Malaysia, after Shape magazine has put its own version of Shape Night Run in coming April.

It was raining heavily during the journey from Sungai Buloh to Putrajaya and stopped the time we reached the car parking area. The breeze was comforting and everyone is gearing up around the vehicle. The 12 km category flagged off at 8pm.

I completed the course earlier than expected, 1 hour 18 minutes. This was my third night run at Putrajaya and the route has never failed to amaze me, offering astonishing bright lit bridge, wide course without traffic, unique building structures and impressive by-the-lake running experience. We got a goodie bag at the finishing point, with the merchandises, a magazine and runner’s guide booklet (good read!).

Stay Driven!!!

The starting and finishing of MHWHNR 2015.

We left the scene at 1030 pm. For me, this is a good start for running in 2015 though it came late behind. To stay active and keep up the stamina on course, it tells how much effort I should put in for my daily practice and passion to go forward.

 The finisher medal for 12km!
