Bangkok - Srinakarin Train Market (Talat Rot Fai)

Srinakarin Train Market or more commonly being known as Talat Rot Fai is quite a popular night market in Bangkok. It situated quite some distance from the city centre where we spent around 45minutes in the taxi in order to reach here, thanks to the super heavy traffic!

Despite its location, there are still a lot of people here! I believe it is not only famous among tourists, but locals as well!

Talat Rot Fai is well-known with its vintage side as well as the warm environment! There are many bars with live band performance along the streets! So after shopping and street food hunting in the night market, what’s other thing is better than having beer in a cozy bar with nice music around?

The easiest way to reach Talat Rot Fai is by taxi! Just in case your taxi driver don't understand the place you referred to, you may ask them to send you to Seacon Square, which situated just next to the night market.

Seacon Square, which is next to main entrance of Talat Rot Fai.

When you saw this, you are at the right place :) A big wooden ship at main entrance of Talat Rot Fai.

Around 7pm, less crowded.

When in night market, hunt all the street food!!!!
Grilled squids, grilled pork, grilled prawns...Everything looked yummy!

Crepe with banana and nutella!

Colourful candies. Thai's traditional snack!

Thai's traditional snack!

When you looked closer... they are actually stir-fried worms, grasshopper, bees and etc... Dare to try?

Doggy spotted!

20Baht for a shirt, sir?

Local handmade brand :) One thing I like when shopped at Bangkok is their local brands. There are quite a lot of individual local brands can be spotted at Bangkok and I think majority agreed that Thai people are bond creative :)

If only we can bring back all of them...

Hundreds of shoes are waiting for their new owners here! Here is just like a shoes bazaar!

So what are you waiting for? Youngsters! Grab some Thai Bahts and go shopping!
If you are not shopping kind of people, street food hunting is fun too!
