Things to do at city centre:

No.1 – Tua Pek Kong Temple
This is the oldest temple in the city which was built during pre-Brooke era. From here, you can get a great view of Sarawak River.

No. 2 – Bazaar Street
Bazaar Street is one of the oldest streets in Kuching. There are lots of souvenir stores and local delicacies like layer cake selling here too.

No. 3 – Kuching Waterfront
Here is like a must-go place when you are at Kuching. Kuching Waterfront is quite a photogenic spot, overlooking the mosque across Kuching River. Besides, from here, you can get a great view of Fort Margherita which is across the river.

No. 4 – Carpenter Street
The other side of Kuching, Old Kuching :) There are quite a number of hidden gems here, especially food and of course the old buildings.

Entrance of Carpentar Street.

No. 5 – Cat statue
The biggest cat statue at Kuching! Too bad it was raining and we didn't take any photo with it! So here is a Google street view for you :P

No. 6 - Street arts
Try to look for all street arts and catch them all!

Love this the most!

By the way, there are street murals by street artist Ernest Zacharevic at Kuching, the famous one is Orang Utan mural. We are so close to that area but we could not find it that time T.T So here you are, Google street view again :P

Can you spot them?? Blocked by a van LOL.

No.7 - Unique cafe
We found quite a lot of unique cafe at Kuching, the one we loved the most is The Barber. Transformed from an old traditional barber shop into a cafe, where all old stuffs were fully utilised, either as decoration or still serving their own purpose until today!

So old-school!

The main entrance!!!

Haha, loved this!

There are much more interesting things which are yet to be discovered! Hope to see you soon, Kuching!
