Surabaya - Madakaripura Waterfall

After a full-with-surprised-morning at Mount Bromo, we had our breakfast at hotel and then checked out from our room. Our next stop is Madakaripura Waterfall (what a long name =.=).

Around 1.5hours travel time spent from Hotel Bromo Permai to Madakaripura Waterfall by car.

Greeted by this gentleman :P

Meeting with our guide and started our hike to the waterfall :)

  Spotted the waterfall far far away !!

After around half an hour walk on the land and cross some water, we stopped by halfway to have some rest and put on our rain coats. Yes, we bring along disposable rain coats!

Why we need that? Because we are entering a world with magical tiny raindrops!!

Omg! I was stunned at the time we are here! Tiny water drops from the cliff overgrown with plants !!! Fall in love with the place immediately lol :p

The water drop is similar to those big fans with water mist outside mamak stalls lol if you can’t imagine.

After crossing the “raining part”, the waterfall is just in front of us.

Water flowing down in super high velocity and the wind was so strong that day. We all get wet under the fragile rain coat :p

So we hide aside while enjoying the awesome view!

Water is in high speed at upstream of the waterfall and since the water source is from very high mountains, can’t imagine how pain it is when hit on your body lol…

Fall in love with Madakaripura Waterfall, this is the most beautiful waterfall I ever seen before… the view of tiny water drops from the cliff kept repeating in my mind @.@

Hehe, after around 2hours at the waterfall, we travelled back to the town and had our lunch :) BBQ baby chicken, recomended by our guide.

Reminder: Wear shoes with good gripping since you will be walking across wet slippery rocks. Kampung Adidas (rubber shoes) would be a good choice. However, we still survived with normal sandals lol :P
