Surabaya - One Step Closer to Mount Bromo

After checked in to our room at Hotel Bromo Permai 1, our guide brought us to have a walk around.

We are very shocked to realize that we are actually facing the very beautiful Mount Bromo!!!! Our hotel is just located beside, omg!! Felt so excited :P

We walked out from out hotel and just followed this small path..so surprised with what we saw :) being amazed for so many times in a day lol :P

Walking along the small path…Mount Bromo is on our right hand side…

While local’s cozy small hut is on our left hand side… ask us how not to love this place, so peaceful and with superb view :)

The volcano located in the middle with white smoke is Mount Bromo ^^ while the Mount Semeru is on the left and Mount Batok is on the right.

Mount Semeru is a super active volcano, Mount Bromo is an active volcano and Mount Batok is a dead volcano :) Volcanoes family :P

 The unblocked view made us reluctant to leave although the weather is getting colder when the night coming.

 According to our guide, this area was used to be very “green”, it was totally different with the “grey” condition we saw right now. All the plants were covered by lava and volcano dust after the explosion happened few years ago… just cannot imagine power of the explosion, power of nature.

A temple is spotted!! 

We can’t wait the next morning to come because we are going to Mount Bromo early of the next morning!  Just imagine we would be on a jeep passing through the grey sand/ dust in dark…and the highlight is sunrise from Mount Bromo Penanjakan view point!!! So excited :P

 Ok, before the arrival of sunrise..we had sunset first :P

Haha, one of the “public” transport available here :)

Had our first dinner during our Bromo trip :) This is soto served with rice and it tastes good :) It is similar with the “mee soto” we have in some Malay restaurants and the “sambal” is super spicy @.@

Having spicy food as dinner is the smartest choice ever because the temperature kept on decreasing @.@ we had a tough time in the bathroom since the heater is not functioning well T.T

In the end of the day, we wrapped ourselves like a dumpling and hide in our blankets :P

Gotta wake up 3am in the morning for the sunrise!!! Stay tune for the amazing Mount Bromo hike!!!
