Penang Hill, or more commonly being known as Bukit Bendera is one of the tourist spot at Penang, especially after it re-opened to public on year 2012, after the train system upgrading work. Penang Hill, since year 1923. During our last visit to Penang island, we went to Penang Hill, just to experience the train! The train ticket is not cheap, where both-way ticket for adult costs RM10 for Mykad holder. For more info about the ticket price, click HERE . After that, we queued and waited for the train. When the train arrived, the condition was like “lost control” since the in-charge worker would open the gate and “urged” the first 50 to 60 persons to enter the platform and embark the coach (choose yourself which coach you like in that few seconds LOL). There are 2 types of ticket, one is normal ticket while the other one is fast lane ticket (double up the price). Day 2 at Penang, after breakfast, we started our mural hunt around Georgetown! Another advantage of staying at Armenian Street Heritage Hotel at Lebuh Carnovan is there are quite a number of breakfast choices around, within walking distance of course! We got a free map from Ming Xiang Tai and we just followed it.  By the way, traditional pastry from Ming Xiang Tai is so good! Siew Pao, egg yolk tart, chicken tart…all are so nice! Asam laksa! Here we come! We departed from KL and just like what others normally do, we stopped by Ipoh to have our breakfast. We had dim sum breakfast at Foh San Restaurant that morning. Do expect crowd over there especially during weekend and public holiday! It is so hard to find a seat! Anywhere, you can choose to tapau (carry away) dim sum at the carry-away session next to the main entrance in order to skip the crowd! Penang bridge! Once we reached Penang, we headed to Georgetown and looked for our hotel, Armenian Street Heritage Hotel. Day 3, we’ve tasted the Bangkok’s most famous Kaiton Pratunam chicken rice as breakfast today. The smooth Thai rice is the nicest I’ve ever had in Bangkok. After that, we walked to the nearest Chit Lom BTS station and started our journey to Chatuchak market. It is one of the must visit in Bangkok. The market is so huge that one could have easily lost in the small rows of shoplots while walking from one alley to another. Updat e of this post . 1600 Pandas Tour in Malaysia is finally back to KL and would be at Publika, Solaris Dutamas from 13 th until 25 th January 2015 (from 10am to 10pm). We went to Publika last Saturday to join the fun! There are so many pandas (and people as well) even though it was a Saturday morning! Everyone is queuing patiently in order to have a nice shoot with those cute paper pandas!
